Experimenting
Here is a piece i produced in photoshop experimenting with the tools that i will probably use when making my finals. Here i have pictures from an old shoot. I cut them out and layered them and change the opacity so they kind of blend together. I used a picture of texture that i found on google to give it a bit of detail and an old grungey look and put it as my background. Next i got a picture of google of a random black pattern which i cut out and placed between my layers also changing the opacity to make my image a bit more interesting then i make 3 copys of the layer and resized them and moved them to fill up my image. To finish off i used some brushes that i downloaded from brusheezy.com to darken the corners and edge of my image to make it look a bit darker and a bit more gloomy and i think it also made my piece look complete and together.

Archain Nair
Archain Nair is a visual artist, illustrator and art director who specializes in mixed media and digital art. I really like this persons work because its very bright and colourful and stands out. Here is a picture Nair did for a bands album cover I think its very effective because the band are in black and white but surrounded in colour helping to make them stand out.
Amber Isabel
Here is an image by Amber Isabel, Alot of her work is mostly portraiture containing one or a few people the scene they set in is normally very simple and empty and she doesnt really use a lot of colour but her pictures are really interesting because of how simple her pictures are but then have a small really surreal moment happening

Vault 49 is extremely popular due to the illustration, photography and motion graphics. Alot of is work is surrounded by digital collage and photo collage and expresive use of colour. Vault 49 has an online shop where it sells alot of his designs. I really like this persons work i Particulary like this picture because of the use of effects and the amount of detail thats in it.
Experimenting with my Brush
Here i used the brush i made and experimenting with it by using tools like the different shapes in Illustrator and even using the pencil. This has given me a good idea of the sort of thing i can do when i make my final images.

Experimenting With Photoshop Brushes
Here i have been experimenting with photoshop brushes that i downloaded free from brusheezy.com. This has helped me to see the kind of effects and textures i can think about and use in my future work.
Sarah Howell Research
How Sarah Howell creates her work is by scanning in her drawings and paintings with various other mixed media techniques. She often collaborates with photographers to create artwork. She works closely with record companies to create album covers she also does a lot of advertisement work for various companies (e.g. Diet coke, Topshop, MTV and many others).
I really like Sarah Howells work because it is very creative and very bright. I really like work that has a lot of colour and stands out well. I like how her pictures are a combination of real people and animation. I don’t think her artwork has any real meaning but is a very good way to advertise things.
